Lost yesterday...

Pendergrass.

Teddy Pendergrass will always hold a special place in my heart because at the age of eleven, it was his velvety voice that captured me when he sang, "Wake Up Everybody," with Harold Melvin & The Bluenotes. His alluring voice, coupled with the compassionate lyrics, which still resonate today, were the catalyst for me purchasing my very first 45 record.

The song has transcended decades, and brings to mind the plight of Haiti with the devastation caused by the earthquake. Please pray for the healing, and full restoration of Haiti and it's people, which are our people... we are one. As an aside... please be aware that UPS will be offering free shipping to Haiti tomorrow up to 50lbs. There will be clothing and food drives at all United Ways and Salvation Armies.

Thanks for the music and the memories...
