Ailey.
Alvin Ailey was an American choreographer and activist who founded Alvin Ailey Dance Theater. He is also credited with popularizing modern dance. Ailey's masterpiece Revelations is believed to be the best-known, and most viewed modern dance performance. See a clip from Revelations after the jump.
I'll will be on hand at the historic Kennedy Center in the Nation's Capital to see the troop perform next month. Afterall, "life is good, but living is better!"
